2017 50c Pride & Passion Silver Proof

Struck to immaculate Proof quality from 99.9% pure silver, this 31.50mm Australian legal tender coin was issued by the Royal Australian Mint to honour the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Referendum acknowledging Indigenous Australians in the census, and the 25th anniversary of the Eddie Mabo Land Rights case.

1988 $1 Bicentennial Silver Proof

Issued by the Royal Australian Mint to mark the 200th anniversary of European Settlement, as well as to honour the history of Australian Indigenous art, the striking kangaroo design of the 1988 Bicentenary $1 was created by master craftsman Stuart Devlin. Measuring 25mm, the 1988 Bicentenary $1 is struck to Proof quality from sterling silver.

1988 $2 Bicentennial Silver Proof

Released to coincide with Australia’s 1988 Bicentennial celebrations, this limited edition Australian legal tender coin is struck to flawless Proof quality from sterling silver. An official Royal Australian Mint issue, the 20.50mm $2 depicts an Australian Indigenous elder under the Southern Cross.

1988 $10 Bicentennial AA First Prefix Overprint Note

The 1988 $10 Bicentennial was Australia’s first commemorative – and the world’s first polymer – banknote. Depicting an Indigenous Australian youth, Morning Star Pole and ancient rock paintings, this example also carries the First Prefix, AA, as well as the First Day of Issue Overprint – ‘26 January 1988’. Never seen in change, regardless of the grade, this unique banknote type is scarce.

1982 $1 Johnston/Stone DPS Last Prefix Note

First seen in 1966, the $1 note was the first Australian currency issue to recognise Australian Indigenous culture. A key element of Australia’s currency history, the $1 note was replaced in the mid-1980s, during the Johnston/Stone signature combination. The last print-run of the $1 note is recognised by the presence of the Last Prefix ‘DPS’.
