King George II was King from 1727-1760. He was the son of King George I.

Two different busts of the King used on his coinage, the Young Head which was used from 1728-1745 and the Old Head which was used between 1746 and 1758.

George II lived to the age of 77 which was much older than any of his English or British predecessors.
